These works are from a recent exhibition titled Shadow and Memory.

The work presents the viewer visual and sensory experiences that are rooted in recollections, reminiscence, emotion, passing time, and works that share narratives.

The materials, craft methods, and intuitive responses I used to create these works record handling, touch, and choice. Materials such as yarn and twine, methods such as weaving, crochet, and macrame act as the visual record-keepers for the intuitive responsive choices made as I worked. They create a visual narrative of my creative process. For the viewer, these pieces are intended to evoke sensory experiences, reactions, feelings, emotion, based on the tactile quality and visual structures.
